Non-Restricted Firearm Safety Course - August 20, 2023

As per RCMP Canadian Firearm Program requirements, instructional time for this course is 8 hours.
There will be a 30-minute lunch time for students/instructors. Please note that written and hands on testing will commence after the required instructional time. Length of testing period is dependent on number of students and the length of time each student requires to complete their individual hands-on testing.
Instructional time for courses will begin promptly at 8:30am and we ask that students arrive at 8:15am.
First-time licence applicants must pass the Canadian Firearms Safety Course before applying for a Possession and Acquisition Licence. After the in-class instruction, you will do a written and practical test.
Anyone 12 years or older can take the CFSC. Children under 12 can take the course, but only for educational purposes. They will not do the written or practical exams. To get a Minor's Licence to borrow and use non-restricted firearms, the minor must be between 12 and 17 years old.

Rescheduling Policy
Changing and re-booking any dates booked
must be done in person
at the range counter. Rescheduling within 7 days of the course will result in a $40 Rescheduling Fee per course change. Rescheduling more than 7 days before the course date will have no fee.
No Show Policy
Refunds will not be given on any course bookings for any reason. (Including moving, ect) No Exceptions.
Failure to attend a course without prior notice (minimum 24 hours) will result in forfeiture of your course fees (at Managements discretion).
